Why I Built This Site

I'm a chiropractor, not a urologist. So when I started offering Emsella pelvic floor therapy at my Milwaukee practice, I noticed a gap: there was plenty of clinical literature, but not much honest, plain-language information for people who are quietly struggling and don't know where to start.

This site exists to fill that gap — to give people the kind of straightforward answers I wish I could hand every new patient before their first consultation.

How I Got Into Emsella — and Why It's Personal

I started offering Emsella in November 2024. But the decision to bring this technology into my practice didn't start with a sales call or a conference. It started with my wife.

After having two kids, my wife had developed stress incontinence — the kind that shows up when you're running, laughing, or coughing. It was affecting her daily life in ways that felt embarrassing to talk about, even at home.

She came across the Emsella chair and demoed it before I had even considered adding it to the practice. The results were significant enough that she came back to me and said, essentially, "You need to get this."

She was my first patient. After completing her treatment, she no longer leaks when running, laughing, or coughing — the exact issues that had been bothering her. She continues to use it on a maintenance basis today.

That experience didn't just convince me the technology worked. It gave me a direct window into what patients go through — the quiet frustration, the lifestyle adjustments, the relief when something finally helps. I carry that with me into every consultation.

Background & Credentials

I earned my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois in 2010, and have been practicing in Milwaukee's Bay View neighborhood for over 15 years. In that time I've treated thousands of patients — from infants to seniors — across a wide range of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions.

My clinical background is in neuromuscular and musculoskeletal care — the same systems that underlie pelvic floor dysfunction. Emsella isn't a detour from my practice; it's a natural extension of it. Strengthening weakened muscle systems through carefully calibrated stimulation is something I've approached in various forms throughout my career.

How I Approach Incontinence Care

I believe the information patients receive before they walk through the door matters as much as what happens during treatment. Most people dealing with incontinence have spent months or years minimizing the problem, assuming it's just "part of getting older" or "normal after kids."

It doesn't have to be. And they deserve to know that before they spend another year managing symptoms with pads and workarounds.
